Suhaib 3 yrs old...

26th May 2010, Suhaib turned to 3 yrs.... Alhamdulillah.... besar dan sihat anak umi...

Dimeriahkan dgn visit dari Makndak Maryam, Pakndak Azizan, Mia dan Ammar dari Malaysia... dan Kak Ina, Abg Reza dan Arif dari London...

Terima kasih Makndak dan keluarga di Malaysia yang mengirim macam-macam.... Sesampainya belacan dari mak, terus dibuat sambal belacan utk pelengkap hidangan kami hari itu.... :))))
Sayu je hati dapat rasa buah kurma mak dan ayah yang baru balik dari umrah.... :_) terima kasih mak, terima kasih ayah..
Makndak pandai meneka ape yang kita teringin nak makan.... dibawa maruku campur dari M'sia...... mmmmm.... nikmatnya rasa dapat makan.... :))) Dan banyak lagi ole2 dari makndak.... pisang goreng frozen***suker sgt!!!***, pau frozen ***sedap!!!***, dan karipap frozen***mmmm.... sedap karipap makndak...***. Sorryyy.... umi mintak maap sgt2 sbb terpaksa botakkan kepala anak umiiiii..... about 12 hari yang laluuuuu.... sekarang ni baru nak release gamba utk tatapan keluarga dan rakan2. Hahaks! Sblm ni takut jugak nak post up gambar2 Suhaib dan kepala botaknya... takut tokwan2 dan nenda2 di kampung marah pulak tengok cucu kesayangan dibotak kepalanya.... ;D

Alkisahnya, itulah... nak gunting di kedai kan tak berbaloi harganya... Sebelum2 ini mmg umi yang guntingkan rambut Suhaib apabila panjang. Umi gunting semasa dia tidur, sikit2... Yelah, bukan reti dok senyap sesaat kan... This time Umi fikir anak umi ni dah besar agaknya boleh faham.. Hahahhaha, hasilnya, itulah, terpaksa dibotakkan kepalanya.... hahhah... maaf ya mak.....=))

Tak mau dok diam sesaat, berlubang ditengah, so, ape lagi, umi ambil pisau cukur, cukur sampai botak mcm baby.. hehehhehe...



Hmm... nak tunggu sale mase krismas nnt, nak kena beli mesin botakkan kepala lah mcm ni.. Jenuh jgk nak pakai pisau cukur..

Daddynya dok suruh umi cukur kepala si Syifa tu.. Rambut belakangnya takmau jadi elok dah sejak tidur dalam baby sleep cot dlm flight ke London dulu.. tercacak cacak dan berpintal-pintal, walaupun dah disikat dgn minyak, akan jadi balik. Electrostatics charge kuat sungguh.

Syifa on the camera. Down frm left- I have to kendong like 'mak indon' time nak masak. Waduuuh... nak berkepit aja si Syifa' ni. Skrng ok sikit, sbb dah makin buas nak explore rumah~Syifa' the explorer. Boleh panggil mamma mama or miiiiiiiii..... Tgh belajar angkat badan nak merangkak. Pandai mengutip. Semua masuk mulut. Pandai xsuka kat abg Suhaib dia yg suka mengacau dan conquer semua benda.

1st time ke carboot di Gosport. Sorang2 muka xpuas hati krn terpaksa duduk dalam child seat. A must- regulation di sini. Kalau x kena compound 60 pnd kot..

Jln2 di Itchen River. Berdekatan dgn rumah kami. Boleh lah nak beriadah sikit2 bwk depa jln2 kena angin..

Suhaib in fever pain..

Yesterday mummy took an EL(emergency leave..). Tokwa (my kids babysitter) cannot make it since Wan E’s (Tokwa’s hubby) farther passed away. *Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihiraajiun.. Al Fatihah* Thus, Ummi took care of poor Suhaib and little Syifa’.

Suhaib have been unwell for almost a fortnight since Tokyah and Wan Im leaved for umrah. Poor suhaib.. His flu has gone but he still have the cough and phlegm. Things are getting bad when he has been suffering a bouncing fever so frequently. Sometimes his body temperature is extremely high that made me feel so worry. He did a little and frequent poops as well- I’m not sure why, but maybe due to his bad fever. Perhaps, what I’m sure enough, it’s not because of food poisoning. His head and back were so hot to touch, sometimes he felt freezing. Kesian anak Ummi.. Xtahulah nape xkebah2 jugak demam Suhaib..

Everytime he made a little poo, mummy will take him to the bathroom. Cleaned and bathed him wishing that his body temperature will go down. Every 4 hours mummy gave him the relief fever medicine, 250mg paracetamol to control his body temperature. Still, sometimes his fever went so bad with a tremendous hotness. Hence, Ummi have no choice than to rectal suppository (a drug delivery system that is inserted into the rectum where it dissolves) him, because this may relieve the fever faster.

Mummy did some readings this morning and found out some careful reminder when handling a child’s fever.

What NOT to do when your child has a fever?

1. DON'T cover your child with heavy blankets or quilts. Heavy covers can hold in fever.
2. DON'T cover your child with a wet towel or sheet. It will keep heat from being lost through the skin.
3. DON'T give your child a cold bath or an alcohol bath. (Mummy: Not sure what means by a cold bath. Maybe it means a bathe with very cold water. As far as I know giving them bath could help to reduce the fever)

One thing of our checklists is to get the passport done. So yesterday, after office hour (since Suhaib recently wanting for *jalan2* after office hour. Jenuh gak tiap2 hari nak kene *entertain*.. :)) we went for a passport photoshot.

Suhaib had really made me *gelak bagai nak pecah perut*. Ha ha ha… Funni boy la anak ummi ni… Actually he had becoming stressed by the flashing lights and all the people (me, hubby, cameraman, cameraman’s wife-I guess) that were encouraging him to look, smile and don’t move. Which made him wants to avoid his eyes from blinking. Ha ha ha.. He’s so struggled doing that and made he looked so humorous with the ‘funny faces’.

Suhaib get bald again

This week daddy brought Suhaib for a hair cut since his hair are getting ‘serabut’ like ‘Rangga’ ;D. This is the 1st time Suhaib had his hair cut at the shop. Before this, when the Tsunami-like-wave of Suhaib’s hair were getting longer, Ummi will cut his hair whenever he fall asleep. Thus, jadilah rambut tak siap selama 2 hari. hahaks. What to do? He can only stand still for 2 seconds.
But this time, my 2yo boy really has becoming a big boy. Cause daddy said he can sat quietly at the barber shop while his hair being cut. Long after, he started to cry for daddy’s help. Fortunately his haircut has merely finish.

A couple of days on early this week, Suhaib had a bad vomiting due to cough and flu. Fortunately it just a normal allergenic flu. And maybe it was due to a n extremely high temperature of Alor Setar and Perlis. Poor Suhaib… My stomach curling everytime he expelled everything out of his stomach. Yes true, it is good to let his phlegm go out since this little child did not know how to do it by himself. But I can’t find it in my heart to see my little boy felt so weak --deeply breathe, eyes open but without interest to the surrounding. Somehow, he loves to kiss her adik Syifa very much. As a result, while Suhaib is getting better, little Syifa is getting sick with the running nose and some cough. Helplessly, I hope that my milk is strong enough to cure her from getting worse. Cause she’s only 4mo+ and her heart is too young to process medicines for flu and cough. Yesterday, we just bought her an infant nasal pump to help her running nose which sometimes blocks her breathing.

Hopefully they could recover fast.

Suhaib & the adjourned birthday =)

As promised, Suhaib's birthday has been celebrated. Yesterday's evening at Tandoplah. The whole villagers came by visited ;P. Yeah yeah kidding. I mean the whole troop of our Tandop's families came and spent their time for our Suhaib. Kakaka, ramai tau..

Thinking back, mummy's quite upset cause forgot to order cuppies for Suhaib.. =( Sorry me.. Klu ada cuppies kan chomell..But not that bad, ok jugak lah kek doraemon by Sayang Bakery. Takpe, next bithday, mummy buat sendirik kek ok!

Suhaib Birthday is Today!

This morning when Suhaib wake up, me and hubby wish and sing him a Heppi Birthday song. Suhaib went blushing in his smile. So I thought he’s now understood what a birthday is. Sbb yesterday mummy told him, tomorrow is Suhaib's birthday, birthday is the day you were born where you went out from mummy belly tummy as a baby like adik Syifa'. But not sure enough whether he has the idea of having a birthday cake and a special gift- I don’t think so :). Perhaps if we introduce it to him by this age, then he will learn very fast. I think so :). Reminiscing his 1st birthday, he was too little to understand the birthday party that we made- like participating in a walkathon- but he went off without any directions, so mummy and daddy got to rush after him here and there- cause he just got his legs the previous 2 months. Sampai ummi nak potong kek pun x feeling.*smiling on thought*
"Hai… anak ummi dah makin besar dan sgt cerdik+nakal. Tapi takpe.. ummi suka mcm tu."

Speaking of his milestone, Suhaib is very talkative and full of action and wanting for attraction most of the time. Pop pet 2x, cakap kedah + perlis + kl + siam dier tuh. *lol* He now can understand differences-- like big vs small, long-short, fast-slow – and understand double instructions—like go to the dustbin and throw the pampers in there—heheh ni ummi sll buat *wink3* When he saw some interesting stuffs like fancy flashing lights on the road (recall back, his 1st favorite word besides ‘ayah’ and ‘mi’ is lampu-‘ampu2’), the ships, sea and the shore (‘ombak mai, ombak mai’) and many more, he will start to talk about it so excitedly. Laju mcm train. His mind works faster than his tongue ;). A new funny supportive word which he often uses now is ‘sat’. (‘makan kfc cat’, ‘main cat’) *lol* Pandai la pulak dok bersat-sat anak ummi nih. Tapi bila ummi cakap tunggu sat!, wat donno jer.. Now Suhaib also could understand feeling of sadness. Mummy noticed it when mummy was acting like crying. Suhaib came near, touched and called me in a very soft voice, “Ummi...”. When mummy look at him, he kissed my cheek with a sad facial expression. God… im so touched. Thank you Allah 2x.



Many more about Suhaib, he loves dancing and story telling especially when we tell him a story, he always wants to interframe with his story too. End up the storyline that we have in our mind have always been edited by his imagination. *lol* He has the word for almost everything and often asked for and direct our attention to objects that he familiar by naming it. He’s now getting to know on how to express love to his younger sister, adik syifa’. Sometimes, he will go near Syifa’ very quietly and sayang2 and touch2 softly. Then after a while, he starts to cucuk2 and hit her body and head. Syifa’ the 4mo pun pandai. Sometimes, looking at him only- she quickly cries out loud. *lol*

Last 2 days when we were at my pil’s house, it was dinner time, my mil asked me to go and eat with the rest first while she’s swinging Syifa’ for sleep. Suhaib sat on the big chair beside me and wanted to eat by himself. So I let him. Surprisingly he invited my mil, “tokyah, akan” (tokyah, makan). *lol* Suhaib2… always acting like a big bro.

*Sigh* So much more about Suhaib on his 2yo to tell here. But dats all for now. We plan to celebrate his birthday on this weekend at Tandop( my pil’s house) since there will be a lot of children including my sil’s and cil’s kids. But tonite will have dinner at KFC since he loves KFC (he called ‘KFci’) so much. Present??? *dingdong* Sorry, ummi and daddy belum ada idea lagi ;p. Sbb Suhaib selalu jahanamkannya ;D
